Joanne Lew Vriethoff is the acclaimed illustrator of over 60+ children’s books, not including other translations. This includes the bestselling updated edition of The Invisible String series which has sold over 2 million copies, Stacy McAnulty’s Beautiful and Brave, Who Will I Be written by The View cohost Abby Huntsman, and together with the (then) 13-year old youngest investigative journalist, Hilde Lysiak, created Hilde Cracks the Case book series with Scholastic, which later became an Apple drama series called Home Before Dark.

‍The simple lines reflected in her illustrations and characters are whimsical, sassy, sensitive and tender to the characters and mood of the book. Joanne’s illustrations take us back to our childhood memories when we were wild and free, full of curiosities of the world.
