Kaitlyn Myers is the literary assistant to Jessica Alvarez. She is the owner of Taboo Editing Services and holds her MFA in Creative Writing. In books, Kaitlyn loves fantastical places, depraved characters, and love that grows in dark places. When she is not editing, writing, or reading, she has a beautifully chaotic and normal life. Her two step-sons are right in the horrifying part of adolescence where they are approaching adulthood without the common sense that should accompany an adult. Her daughter, a toddler and head of the house, provides endless entertainment and love. Kaitlyn and her husband are right at the stage of life where sleeping in looks like a 7 a.m. wake-up call and nothing is more exciting than cancelled plans and a good Crumbl cookie line-up. In rare, quiet moments they play video games together, binge trash TV shows, or tackle the latest hit horror movie.
