Katie enjoys working on a wide variety of board book, picture book, early reader chapter book and graphic novel projects! But her very favorites are projects that give her a chance to flex her funny-bone. She loves to illustrate stories oozing with humor and totally out-there situations. Got some animals doing human-y things or characters embarking on unlikely adventures? Katie says, “Yes, please!”

As a digital illustrator in the children's market for 20 years, Katie has worked on a variety of projects, including: books, magazines, video games, board games, t-shirts, and various products. Her favorite clients include Highlights, Scholastic, and Dreamworks. She even spent a summer drawing caricatures at Legoland!

In her spare time, Katie is likely planning homeschool outings, playing board games with her family, or scribbling down ideas on spare bits of paper. Katie lives in San Diego with her family.
