As the first literary agent to charm BookEnds into hiring her, Kim has been an integral part of growing the agency, along with her clients' careers. Having started on the editorial side, Kim brings her knowledge of both sides of the publishing business to help strategize authors’ futures. Working with many bestsellers and award-winners, she loves the thrill of that first offer call to a debut author as much as the excitement of seeing a client hit the New York Times list for the first time.

Kim's reading obsession began in middle school when she raided her grandmother's collection of Phyllis Whitney books and since then she's surrounded herself with books in virtually every job she's held (with the exception of her awkward pleated khaki phase at Blockbuster). Her tastes have always been deeply rooted in commercial storytelling, from her years as a soap opera aficionado, Nora Roberts binge reader and lover of every form of romantic comedy.

Now, with a client list including women's fiction, mystery, young adult and romance, Kim enjoys working on a wide range of books. Above all else, her goal is to see every reader from every background see themselves in stories with happily-ever-afters.
