  • With over a decade of agenting experience, Senior Literary Agent Rachel Brooks has had the privilege of  working with award-winning and bestselling authors, as well as wonderful debuts.

    Rachel’s focus is representing commercial fiction, especially romance, romantasy, and fantasy. In addition to working with traditionally published authors, she also works with successful indie authors looking for subrights representation or wanting to pivot to a hybrid career with one foot in the traditional side of publishing.  You can find more details about what she's currently looking for in her wishlist below.

    When not working, Rachel is likely hanging out with her husband and rescue cats trying new recipes, watching K-dramas, or playing World of Warcraft.

    Within romance, romantasy, and fantasy, Rachel enjoys dark and gothic stories as well as cozy and humorous ones. She loves escaping into another world or experiencing a speculative twist on our own. She also enjoys fresh spins on fairytales and mythologies, or fantastical reimaginings of real history. While she represents all heat levels, she gravitates toward spice more often than closed door.
