As CEO, Jessica is the visionary behind BookEnds. She has created a company that continually challenges the way traditional agents and publishing works, while maintaining her commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within BookEnds and publishing at large. She is an advocate for authors, as well as the entire BookEnds team.
James McGowan
As Director of BookEnds Jr., James leads the agency's children's department with a vision that extends beyond publishing, positioning its art department as a global force in illustration and creative representation. Guided by BookEnds' longstanding values, James is committed to evolving the market in children’s media, and expanding opportunities for creators across books and beyond.
